Hi, my name is Nan Evenson. I’m glad you’re here! 

I write unique counting books for little ones, with vibrant illustrations and surprise endings. I also write adventure stories for middle graders and young adults.

 I believe:

• That a great children’s book is much more than pictures and words; it connects children and their readers in the same head and heart universe. And that a young adult book sparks imagination and enjoyment.
• My goal is to give children and young adults, and the people who love to read to them, something magical.

Walk On earns high praise and award honors
